My 3 Fave Autumn Trends + An Idea To Use Them

My 3 Fave Autumn Trends + An Idea To Use Them

 Leggi questo post in Italiano

In the previous post we talked about Fall/Winter trends for 2019 and how to apply them to a Christmas party outfit (I suggest you to read it if you haven't done it yet, it could be inspiring!). Today, instead, I would like to show you three of these trends and how I use them in my daily life. Are you ready to discover the trends of this period that impressed me the most? :)

1.PLAID DESIGN

The plaid design clothes for Autumn/Winter are always very trendy! I couldn't be happier because I'm a big fan of this pattern. It gives me warmth and comfort; I can't help but have at least one plaid item in my closet to wear on. I love this dress in particular because it's very suitable for a daily look: you can pair it with different accessories to wear it in a casual way (as I did) or more chic with a pair of high-heeled boots and a small bag.

2.OVERSIZED BAGS

Speaking of bags, oversized ones are very popular this year! So, I have dusted off my maxi duffel that I hadn't worn for some years in order to try the supersized bags trend: I'm very satisfied. Actyally, I used it more as a travel bag (have you seen my post about traveling in a stylish way? Check it out here): I was delighted to take it out of the closet again and use it daily even to carry documents, my notebook and things I usually store in a separate briefcase. Furthermore... how cute is this stamp print?!
3.KNOTS ON KNITS

The third trend I would like to talk you about is to use knitted items in a knotted way. It's something I've already done in the past (I tie everything lol) but - ehy! - this Fall is fashionable! You could even wear a sweater and tie a tone-on-tone cardigan at yout waist. I would like to make a special mention to this pink cardigan I wear in the pics: it's about 40 years old :) It belonged to my mother who used it when she was a girl and I found it a couple of years ago at my grandmother's house; for me it's practically a relic.

FINISH THE LOOK

I completed the look with this Zuiki bracelet, given to me by a friend who is like a sister to me, and a pendant necklace which represents the Tree of Life, a symbol very dear to me, which is also a gift from my two best friends :) As I said in this post, reminders are really important in my outfits. I took the shoes from Light in the Box, but unfortunately they're out of stock. You'll find the Shop The Post section below where I'll link you some similar items to recreate the look :)
