If you're reading this post then you're looking for a way to save money on your shopping in order to live better (as Walmart tells us), regardless how often you visit Color Me Fall. You don't want to give up buying your fave clothes or items. Shopping makes you happy, I know it. We love do shopping on a budget, so we also know that it's not good to shop for the current season unless there are sales: new collections are more expensive, obviously, so you have to pay more if you'd like to own the latest trends. However, we like low cost shopping, like I said (let's remember that it's also good for your health, lol) :) So, if you're thinking "I love shopping but have no money", this is the right place for you.

SHOP IN ADVANCE

So, how to shop on a budget? Buying an item in advance is the best strategy to save money, honey: it means that you have to think about Fall in Spring. Yes, my friend, this is the main way to have a pretty full cart at a reasonable price. I'm going to show you some price differences taking this outfit as an example.

MINIDRESS

Let's start from the dress, the outfit base. It's a minidress with black and burgundy horizonal stripes; I usually wear it between Fall and the Spring beginning. It has three-quarter sleeves and two small pockets on the sides. All the hems are in fake black leather and on the nape it has a keyhole decorated with a bow. I bought it a few years ago, at the Spring beginning, in a very popular shop here in my city, in order to wear it for the next Fall. The full price was €20; I paid €3 with 85% off. Not bad, isn'it?

FAUX FUR

I grabbed the faux fur vest during one of my hauls at the mall, here in Salerno. I remember that day: I bought so many things! The weather was already starting to get warm. It's burgundy (there was also black), has a hook on the neckline to button it up and ends on the hips height. I paid €10 with 70% off; the full price was €35 ;)

SHOES

These shoes are one of the biggest bargains in my life! They have an exceptional quality/price ratio. They're made of patent leather, with toes and heels covered in suede, entirely beige coloured. They have decorative tassels on the front and they're so comfy. I found them by chance in a store, in a city nearby. I paid €5, the full price was €20, with 75%  off. I bought them two years ago, but they still look brand new!

CONCLUSION

If I had bought all these items in "high season", I would have spent €75, but I paid only €18, with a 76% saving! There is a big difference. So, your problems solution isn't to stop shopping; instead, make sense of that craze that assails you when you see something you like online or in a store, it is! This simple strategy to save money was proven by myself, it's 100% effective :) Who wouldn't like to go shopping this way? It has become a real hobby for me like this! You don't have to pay a full price unless you badly need the latest trends.
