Get Rid Of Style Rules Once And For All: Way To Wear Your Clothes
I have some clothes in my closet that don't suit me well anymore or I no longer like; can you relate with this? If so, you're in the right post :) If you've been reading my blog for a while, you may know about my struggle with weight gain due to a surgery I had in 2017; I gained 25 kg in a very short time and this gave me not a few problems with my clothing. Everything (or almost everything) I owned was too tight or just didn't fit me anymore; however, I have modified a little the way to wear my clothes rather than change my whole wardrobe :D
CHANGE THE WAY YOU WEAR YOUR CLOTHES
In this post I would like to show the way I currently wear this shirt I bought on Wish about three years ago. It was perfectly fine on me when I took it; now, alas, I can no longer button it at my breast level. So, I wear it most of the times without buttoning it, as if it were a jacket. This allows many combinations! You can wear a shirt on a top along with leggings (as in this case), or also crop top on palazzo or high-waist jeans. The only thing to watch out for is the pattern of what you wear under it: if the shirt is in a plain colour, you can choose a fancy top and vice-versa.

Another way to wear a shirt is knotted at the front. It has a really pretty result, like a bolero. You could create lots of looks this way: pair a bralette and a high-waisted maxi skirt with a floral shirt for a boho outfit; wear a white shirt over a t-shirt and a pleated mini to have a preppy style. Shortly, there are so many possibilities, play with your clothes as much as possible :)
The third way to wear it is the one I prefer the most: knotted on the back. The result is particularly cool with fancy shirts which, however, are monochrome on the inside. This kind of bow changes according to the knot you do, it's really cute! If you look at it frontally, instead, it looks like a shawl.

There are other possibilities to wear a shirt, like making a wide strip by folding it and tie it through the sleeves to create a waist belt :) You can knot it on the side, front or back accordig to the look you want. I also use some kind of shirts, the lighter ones, on the beach as if they were a sarong! Your fantasy is your only limit :) Have you ever thought about wearing a shirt as a scarf?

Unfortunately, there's nothing to do with trousers and jeans. I usually try to avoid the problem buying elasticized items; don't worry though, if I'll find a way to wear them, I won't hesitate to share it with you :)
