The 7 Products That Make Up My Beauty Routine + I Want To Give You A Gift!

I'm not an expert in the cosmetic field, but I also have a beauty routine, no matter how small it may be. Several readers asked me to share it on the blog and I took this opportunity to show you my products of the moment and in particular a couple of them I really love. Plus, keep reading, because I'm in the mood for gifts!

Let's start with the face skincare routine, both morning and night. I'll show you the products in order, from the one I use first to the one I use last.

If you're a longtime reader of this blog, you should have seen it in one of my first articles of the last year; here you'll find the entire review, so I don't go into details to give more space to the products I haven't written about yet.

These two products have been kindly sent to me to test them and I didn't receive any compensation for them. The opinions expressed are the results of my test and are fully personal.

After applying the gel around the eyes, I put on the serum, the month new entry. I fell in love with it! It's natural, cruelty free and vegan-friendly, and contains three key ingredients:

  • Vitamin C: it counteracts skin aging, because it's a strong antioxidant, it's photoprotective, and it intervenes on sagging skin; it's also an excellent anti-inflammatory;
  • Hyaluronic Acid: it's naturally produced by our organism, but due to aging its concentration decreases and it's necessary to integrate it to fight wrinkles. It protects, gives elasticity, moisture and prevents cell damage;
  • Collagen: useful in order to moisturize the skin superficially, protect it and prevent its dehydration.

This serum nourishes and brightens the skin, and it does a great job! It helps me to fight some skin problems I have: first of all, I noticed the decrease of pimples which appear before and during menstruation. Since I've been using this Skinkissed serum, just a couple of them came out, not more! (it's a milestone for me, haha!) Another thing I noticed is the drastic reduction of blackheads, which usually affect my chin and cheeks.

In addition to this, it's also useful for inflamed and dry skin, it's an anti-wrinkle and is excellent for acne and surgical scars, stretch marks and eczema. It's good for all skin types, rich in natural antioxidants, oil-free and non-comedogenic.

I use exactly two drops of it to cover the whole face, neck and also lips, as they are covered with scars due to the bad habit I have of biting them when I'm stressed out (alas!). I started applying it about two/three weeks ago, and I couldn't ask for more! Its best quality is certainly the capability of increase my skin softness and brightness. I'm having a great time with it, so I took another one to let one of my readers try it :) It's not a real giveaway and I explain the reasons why on my IGTv channel; visit my Instagram feed  'cause from now till Wednesday, May 15th, you could receive it!

Let's go with face cream: EyeWake is the protagonist again. As for the eye gel, I had the pleasure to try their new cream, and it's almost finished by now. I like it a lot, even if it's a bit heavy for my skin which tends to grease, it's not oily and I like the hydration power it has. It has a quick absorbency, which is essential for me in a face cream! This product also contains hyaluronic acid, along with coenzyme Q10 and other natural antioxidants (in short, we do everything to look younger, haha!)

In the end, lip balm! It's part of an old Christmas collection by Yves Rocher (like the body cream you'll see later), but I hadn't open it yet! I completely forgot about it: when I found it again I decided to try it :) It has a vanilla flavor (I adore it!), and I'm using it in combo with the Skinkissed serum: together they're a bomb! They're doing a great job on my poor lips, martyred by me :/ By the way, I use the lip balm as a real cream and I really like how it works: I apply it and then spread it with my finger, making sure it penetrates into the folds of my lips - of course, this can only be done with non-coloured ones.

Once the face part is over, let's go on with the rest! The order of application is always valid :)

First of all, the scrub: I do it once a week before the shower. I'm using this one by L'Erboristica di Athena with apricot granules and organic extra virgin olive oil. It has a velveting effect and the scent is really great, very Summey! It's an emulsion and it's good 'cause it's delicate and leaves a soft and moisurized skin, even without applying the cream. Because of its gentleness it can also be used on the breast zone, and I won't hide the fact that I use it once a week even for the face.

After the shower I apply the cream, or rather this body lotion by Yves Rocher from the same collection of the lip balm that, just like the latter one, I had completely forgotten I owned... I just opened it, it's about a week since I started using it and I love its moisturizing power! It's vanilla flavored too, my fave along with lavender, and is enriched with organic shea butter. It's mineral oils and parabens free.

However, the product that struck me the most is this one: the slimming shaping by Barò. I usually use it after the shower. Let's go into details. First of all, it's a treatment, so it must be applied consistently to have the desired effect and it contains five main functional substances:

  • Grapeseed and sesame oil: they have an antioxidant action and are rich in vitamin A, B and E and polyphenols;
  • Grape phytoextract: also antioxidant and rich in polyphenols;
  • Rosemary phytoextract: stimulates peripheral circulation;
  • Methyl nicotinate: it's a vasodilator, excellent for microcirculation;
  • Cinnamon essential oil: microcirculation stimulator, it's warming and invigorating.

It's an emulsion and I don't find it particularly delicate for my skin, but it's not for the face, so it's quite good for me: this treatment reduces adiposity and reshapes the figure, thanks to its thermoactive action.

Can I tell you something? OK, I'm saying it. At first glance, I wouldn't have given it a penny. I didn't see any result, I thought it was only good to warm me up during Winter. But no! The results are coming in the long run! Especially in the thigh area. I use it on my arms, buttocks, hips and legs, including thights and calf-muscles. For Heaven's sake, the miraculous creams don't exist, I hope this is clear. However, I'm using this treatment combined with a slight physical activity and a healthier diet: I noticed that the areas involved in the treatment are visibly slimmer, and above all more elastic and compact! Moreover, the scent is truly inebriating and particular: it may not appeal to everyone, but it's a small price to pay in order to see good results!

The heating action begins after about 3-4 minutes from the application, and vanishes within half an hour. I reccommend using only a little bit per part; using more product, you'll end up just like me when I applied it for the first time: shingles disease effect - lol. Rinse well your hands and avoid the contact of the cream with eyes and delicate parts of your body, as well as avoiding contact with injuries or even minor wounds. Above all, don't use it before or after sun exposure!

This is my beauty routine! A bit sparse, but I'm very lazy so it's just fine! (nay, it's already too much for me, haha!) I remind you to visit my Instagram account to have the opportunity to get the Skinkissed Vitamin C Serum! ;)
