FLORAL MAXI DRESS

It's true, it isn't a must-have for Autumn, but there's been a floral print boom up until recently, and I'm definitely still inside it. This pattern is like a drug, it puts me in a good mood and always makes my days happier, so why give it up? The dress I'm wearing is an empire style one; I talked about it in this article and I recommend you to take a look at :) It has half sleeves, a round neckline, and ends right at the ankles. That's the top! It's rare to find a long dress which suited my height - I'm just 1,55mt! so it was a great surprise when I came out to the dressing room to find out it fitted perfectly! I think the shop assistant realized my disbelief too :D

POINTS IN FAVOR

It's extremely comfy, completely stretchy; the upper part is entirely pleated and the sleeves are slightly puffed, narrower at the edge in order to create a small rouche. It isn't totally printed, there are flowers and leaves on a black background; it helps to slim the figure and makes possible to wear also flat shoes for those who aren't used to high heels. It's very comfortable for daytime, but stylish for evening pairing it with more detailed shoes. Always remember: if you don't like or don't want to wear high heels for some reason, you can give yourself a "virtual" plus height by choosing the right dress! It's all about your body shape and to know how to enhance it. Some patterns and styles of clothes, in fact, can also help you to hide extra pounds, if there were any :) Of course, high heels help, but they aren't the only "trick" ;)

>>>I'd like to write a post to talk about the different body shapes and clothes which enhance them, but first I want to be sure it can be useful! ACCESSORIES
Choker - She In
You can also indulge yourself with accessories: a coloured bag is perfect for daytime, maybe a neon one - to return to season's trends :P - stud earrings and necklace with semi-precious stones; just be sure the length doesn't exceed the neckline. You can play as you like with bracelets and rings! Same goes for the evening, perhaps choosing a smaller bag, like a little frame :) You can dare, if you like that style, with a purse and mules in total black, both covered in rhinestones tone on tone, in order to create a discrete sparkle!
