Do you use Summer clothes in Fall, like me? Honestly, I often "recycle" stuff of the previous months when it comes to transitional seasons. I don't wanna immediately change wardrobe, especially talking about times like these when it's still quite hot - today, while I'm writing this post, there are 21° C! Then, let's see together how to style summer clothes for Autumn, keeping also in consideration 2018/19 fashion colours.
2018/19 FALL - WINTER COLOURS
The outfit I wear is fine for daytime, even for work and, with some precautions, an early evening aperitif, but let's go step by step. Knee length is perfect for a day look and the tones mix makes this dress wonderful for this season. By the way, which are the fashion shades of the period?
- Red
- Yellow
- Caramel
- Green
- Blue
- Rose
- Light blue
DRESS
I'm wearing an X-line dress, otherwise called Hourglass, as its shape reminds being choked at the waist. It falls fluidly at hips, hiding any flaws. The soft V-neck is very suitable for those with a medium-sized breast: if it's quite small, the fabric would tend to slip, on the other hand, if prosperous it may be too aggressive. Wide sleeve, as mentioned in other posts, is one of the greatest allies of arms: if they're a bit large, it tends to hide without tightening.

IN AUTUMN
We're now in late October, we have to cover ourselves a little more. Speaking of daytime, I recommend a beige or camel trench coat in satin or cotton, to wear even unbuttoned; impalpable nude tights and tone-on-tone comfortable heels to finish the look. If you wanna go out standards, you could wear green or coral shoes to recall dress details, perhaps in combination with a maxi bag.
Tend to use darker shades in the evening, as an intense caramel coat with wide sleeves - otherwise, signs of the underlying fabric would be seen. Monochromatic bag and shoes like a little shoulder bag or clutch and a pair of t-strap. If you aren't a fan of the genre, a sophisticated chunky is also good. Depending on the accessories colour you can opt for nude tights, but darker than daytime ones. Be careful if they're shiny! The matte effect is much better! Finish the look with sparkling jewels, after all, you're going out for the evening.

Wrap dresses are nice pieces to use for a transition from summer to fall. Pair it with some boots and a leather or denim jacket and it's perfect
ReplyDeleteBoots + leather jacket is one of my fave pairings when it comes to fall! Thanks for stopping by, Tracy :) xo
